COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Is it East Division bias or a reflection of a talent unbalance in the conference?
If you thought the Big Ten East was a lot better than the Big Ten West, the All-Big Ten teams unveiled Monday and Tuesday back up that claim.
A total of 26 players earned first-team all-conference honors on offense and defense as voted by the league media and coaches. Of those 26, 21 played in the Big Ten East and just five played in the West.
Ohio State on its own had more Big Ten first-teamers than the seven-team West.
