It wasn’t long ago that Ohio State held pledges from both 2017 wide receivers Trevon Grimes and Tyjon Lindsey while still pursuing another potential member for Zone 6 in Jaylen Harris. As we all know with recruiting, things can change quickly—and they did. Lindsey, a four-star prospect backed off of his commitment to Ohio State last week only to verbal to Nebraska three days later. Adding Harris then became the key, and luckily for the Buckeyes, he would join the fold shortly after.
So all in all, head coach Urban Meyer still stands with just two true pass catchers in the class —’17 athlete Brendon White seems to be transitioning into a WR as well — and it certainly seems like he is hopeful of adding a third true receiver to join Zach Smith in the WR room.
