On Thursday afternoon, four-star 2020 running back Darvon Hubbard announced that he was decommitting from Ohio State’s next recruiting class. Having been a Buckeye pledge since July 25, 2018, Hubbard had thus far remained tied to the program, despite the coaching change.
However, now the Buckeyes’ class will be without the 170th ranked player and 15th best running back in the country. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native has previously received interest from his in-state Arizona Wildcats, as well as Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and others.
This loss will drop the Buckeyes to a six-person class as of now, with no RBs on the list.
