Ohio State was able to acquire 15 signatures during the early signing period in its 2019 recruiting class. The only name missing that the program was hoping would join them is four-star offensive guard Doug Nester (Huntington, WV / Spring Valley). And while Ohio State is still the favorite to land Nester on National Signing Day next month, it appears the program is doing its due diligence to ensure the position is not vacant if he decides to go somewhere else.
Yesterday, Land-Grant Holy Land’s own Charles Doss talked about how the Buckeyes are set to host standout lineman Dawan Jones next weekend, and it now looks like Ohio State is trying to increase their odds on landing another elite lineman.
