After being on their recruiting radar for quite awhile, class of 2019 cornerback Adonis Otey finally locked in a full ride scholarship from the Ohio State coaching staff on Tuesday.
“Coach [Tony] Alford just told me to give him a call and I did. He offered me and he just told me to build a relationship with him moving forward.” The four-star prospect stated to Land-Grant Holy Land nearly 24 hours after receiving his opportunity to suit up in the Scarlet and Gray.
“It feels great to be offered by them. The great tradition of sending defensive backs to the NFL is what comes to mind when I think of OSU,” said Otey about the chance to play for The Ohio State Buckeyes.
