The Ohio State basketball team earned a much needed commitment Monday afternoon. Three-star point guard Braxton Beverly (Hazard, KY / Hargrave Military Academy (HS)) became the second member of Thad Matta’s 2017 class.
The Buckeyes had been looking to add a guard to this class for sometime now. With the addition of Beverly, four-star center Kaleb Wesson (Westerville, OH / Westerville South) is no longer the lone commit for the Buckeyes’ 2017 class. Beverly is a smaller PG than Matta has typically brought in his career at Ohio State.
