Nearly a month after announcing his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes, Braxton Beverly is now officially a part of the Ohio State basketball family. Alongside numerous of his Hargrave Military Academy (VA) teammates on Wednesday morning, the standout point guard put pen to paper, sealing the deal with Thad Matta and OSU.
Signing his National Letter of Intent, the former Miami (OH) commit will add another true point guard to the roster alongside JaQuan Lyle, JUCO transfer CJ Jackson, and former walk-on Joey Lane next season.
Not the biggest guard at only 5’11 and around 170-pounds, Beverly might not have the size of recent OSU lead guard D’Angelo Russell or current lead man JaQuan Lyle, but he makes up for it with a tough as nails attitude and leadership on the court.
