Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye made use of his Friday during the off week, hitting the ground running recruiting in the state of Ohio.
He stopped at Wayne to see OSU commit Joshua Padilla before attending fellow commit Luke Montgomery’s senior night at Findlay. But he also checked in on 2024 offensive lineman Jake Wheelock at Stebbins High School earlier that afternoon.
“He came in briefly just to check in on me,” Wheelock told Eleven Warriors. “We talked about the status of the team and the game plan for the week.
