Five-star 2016 Jacksonville (FL) Trinity Christian Academy cornerback Shaun Wade has been committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes since January, and he doesn't appear to be wavering on his pledge.
However, that's not stopping a bevy of other schools from attempting a flip. Taking that into account, OSU is reportedly trying to get Wade on campus as soon as they can.
He had talked about returning to Columbus for the team's game recent game against Penn State, but later told Bucknuts that he'd be unable to. He still wants to get to a Buckeyes game sometime this season, "just not this weekend."
The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound CB is ranked as the nation's #13 overall prospect and #3 cornerback, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He currently holds 27 offers from the likes of LSU, Florida, Alabama and Auburn.
