We're just four days away from National Signing Day on February 3rd, which means head coach Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes are focusing their efforts in hopes of delivering a great 2016 recruiting class. With that in mind, here are the latest news and rumors you need to know for Ohio State Football Recruiting for January 31st.
Four-Star CB Down To Two
The Buckeyes are targeting several cornerbacks this recruiting cycle, including four-star Carlos Becker. He announced on his private Instagram that he is down to Florida State and Ohio State. While OSU has a shot, Becker is expected to end up at Florida State. He's No. 15 CB recruit, but the Buckeyes should be okay if they miss out on Becker.
Buckeyes Hoping To Land Two DBs
The top CB targets for OSU are Jordan Fuller and Damar Hamiln. Fuller makes his announcement Monday night and is down to Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. It's a tight race, but the Buckeyes are the favorites. Hamlin is visiting Pittsburgh this weekend and the Panthers could very well end up landing Hamlin. OSU has a shot, but they aren't the favorites. If the Buckeyes can't land Hamlin, DE Jamar King might end up taking his place in the class. OSU Should Land Harrison
Three-star athlete Malik Harrison will make his decision on signing day. It's widely expected he'll head to Ohio State. Further evidence for that was that Ohio State visited Harrison this weekend, something no other school did. For more on the Buckeyes' recruiting plans, download the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app.
