2017 Cleveland Heights (OH) wide receiver Jaylen Harris already has offers in from the likes of Michigan, Tennessee, Iowa, Kentucky and West Virginia. He believes the Ohio State Buckeyes will be one of the next teams to join his impressive offer list.
“I think Ohio State and Alabama are close to offering,” Harris told Bucknuts.com recently. “Coach (Tony) Alford came to my school last Friday. He came in the morning and talked to my coach. They called me out of class and he saw me. I’ve talked to him two or three times on the phone. I’m going to Ohio State’s camp June 16.”
247Sports currently has Ohio State as the prohibitive favorite to land Harris, but there's still plenty of competition left for the in-state wideout to sift through -- despite the fact that the Buckeyes have long been his favorite team.
“From experience I like Ohio State, Michigan State, Oregon and Tennessee,” Harris said. “But I can’t say for sure who I like most right now until I visit some schools. But growing up Ohio State was my favorite. Florida too, but mostly Ohio State for sure.”
