The Ohio State Buckeyes got a visit from one of the stop 2018 ATHs in the state of Ohio, Jaelen Gill (Westerville, OH), and let him know they wanted him.
“I got an offer from Ohio State,” Gill happily told Bucknuts.com. “I went in coach (Urban) Meyer’s office with my father and coach Meyer told me how impressed he was with my size for my age. He told me he would love to have me be a Buckeye. Then coach (Luke) Fickell took me in his office and confirmed the offer.”
The 6'0", 165-pounder Gill was a varsity starter his freshman year at wide receiver, but also lined up as a “wildcat” quarterback. He already had offers from Pitt, Penn State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Toledo, and Cincinnati, but said the Buckeyes are "definitely one of my top choices".
