Shortly after the team's dominant victory over the Oregon Ducks in the inaugural College Football Playoff Championship Game, Ohio State Buckeyes coaches went right to work to ensure that the future is just as bright as the present.
Per 247Sports, Buckeyes coaches contacted coveted four-star Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers wide receiver Austin Mack the day after the team's trimuph in Arlington.
When asked which OSU coaches contacted him, Mack responded, “All of them. Coach (Kerry) Coombs texted me on Tuesday morning. Coach (Urban) Meyer texted me Tuesday morning right before noon. I talked to Zach Smith before the game.”

While the coaching staff's diligence impressed Mack, the team's performance on the field this past Monday also resonated with the standout wide receiver.
“It showed that family and playing together is what wins championships,” he said.
Mack will attended Ohio State's junior day on January 25th. He currently holds around 20 scholarship offers including OSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, and Mississippi State.
