Afterisetting the Ohio State school record for passing touchdowns (all in the first half) against Florida A&M, Kenny Guiton has been recognized by the Big 10 and named Offensive Co-Player of the Week. This is the second week in a row Guiton has earned the award - he also received plaudits for his four-touchdown performance in Ohio State's 52-34 win over Cal.
Guiton's six touchdowns were an Ohio State record, and the second-most in Big Ten single-game history. Guiton completed 24 of 34 passes for 215 yards while only playing in the first half of Ohio State's 76-0 win. Guiton connected with five different receivers on his six touchdown throws.
Ohio State is now 4-0, averaging 52.5 points per game on offense. The Buckeyes (#4 in the AP poll, and #3 in the Coaches poll) host #23 Wisconsin this Saturday at 8pm EST.
