As one of the architects of the Ohio State Buckeyes' defensive, co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash is receiving attention when it comes to head coaching opportunities around college football.
Per Brett McMurphy of ESPN, he's already interviewed for one job - the position at Colorado State vacated by new Florida Gators head coach Jim McElwain:

Chris Ash was named the Buckeyes' co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach back in early January 2014 by head coach Urban Meyer. Ash had coached at the collegiate level for 18 years prior, including 13 seasons as a defensive secondary coach and four years as a coordinator.
"We've competed against a Chris Ash defense before and I have respect for him as a coach," Meyer said prior to hiring Ash. "I like the fact he has experience in the Big Ten Conference and that he is a great recruiter. He was highly recommended by everyone I spoke to."
His value as a recruiter will likely intrigue Colorado State as they look to move on from the McElwain era post haste.
