A slow start, to say the least, as Navy leads Ohio State 7-6 at halftime in Baltimore. The Buckeyes got on the board first with a 46-yard field goal from Sean Nuernberger, but the offense sputtered through most of the first half.
Braxton Miller's replacement, JT Barrett was efficient but not necessarily effective as the Buckeyes offense could only settle for two Nuernberger field goals. OSU threatened twice, but a Barrett interception and a Navy stop ended both drives inside the red zone.
The Midshipmen, however, looked like the Top-25 team throughout the first half. Navy's option-attack was effective as quarterback Keenan Reynolds rushed for 47 yards. Navy's only blemish of the first half came in the form of a missed field goal at the end of the half that would have extended the lead to 10-6.
