The Ohio State Buckeyes had high hopes that their recruiting efforts would bring highly-touted defensive back recruit Rashad Roundtree into the fold for next year in Columbus.
However, using embroidered pants to display his choice, Roundtree opted to stay in-state and join the Georgia Bulldogs.
Despite missing out on a defensive back given a 4-star rating by 247Sports, the Ohio State Buckeyes are still in decent shape when it comes to recruiting new talent for the secondary.
Per Sebastian Lena of Bleacher Report, "among the 20 commits, the Buckeyes boast five cornerbacks and one safety. That list is highlighted by 4-star prospects Eric Glover-Williams and Jamel Dean."
For the Buckeyes, the time is now to solidify those commitments. Losing out on Roundtree will have a minimal effect if Urban Meyer and his coaching staff can maintain their hold the talent they already have committed.
