Your Ohio State Buckeyes football recruiting update for October 15th
Five-star Jacksonville (FL) Trinity Christian Academy cornerback Shaun Wade committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes back in January.
Several schools are reportedly on the trail for Wade regardless of his commitment. With that in mind, OSU is reportedly trying to get Wade on campus as soon as they can.
He had talked about returning to Columbus for the team's game against Penn State, but told reporters later that he'd be unable to. He still wants to get to a Buckeyes game sometime this season, "just not this weekend."
The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound CB is ranked as the nation's #13 overall prospect and #3 cornerback, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He currently holds 27 offers from the likes of LSU, Florida, Alabama and Auburn.
