The Ohio State Buckeyes are loaded at every position. They're the favorites to win back-to-back college football playoff titles. With so much talent, it's really not fair that the Buckeyes get to pick on the likes of Indiana and Illinois this season. Put the Buckeyes, who have nothing to lose, against an NFL team and the Buckeyes could hold their own. The Buckeyes will never get the chance, but here are three NFL teams the Buckeyes could defeat on a neutral site.
Cleveland Browns
This game would sell-out in a heartbeat. Both J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones can outplay Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel. The Browns offense would struggle against the Buckeyes defense. Of course, the Browns offense will struggle against every defense this season. The Browns defense is actually pretty good, but the Buckeyes have a ton of speed on offense. Ezekiel Elliott could have a big day against a defense that was dead last in the NFL against the run last season. As long as Ohio State doesn't throw at Joe Haden, they can beat the Browns.
Washington Redskins
This organization is so poorly run, it's been compared to the Kardashians. Joey Bosa could have a huge game against the Redskins, especially with the way Washington's offensive line has looked in the preseason. Washington might be able to run the ball a bit, but Jay Gruden is so rigid in his play calling that he'd try to throw more than he'd need to. Kirk Cousins would be picked off at least twice by the Buckeyes. It's not like he played that great against them in college anyway.
Tennessee Titans
Marcus Mariota couldn't beat the Buckeyes last year, so why would he beat them now? I mean, it's not like the Titans are that great. Kendall Wright is good receiver, but Oregon might have had better weapons than the Titans have. At the very least, the Oregon weapons were faster. Put Joey Bosa against former Michigan OT Taylor Lewan, and I bet Bosa outplays him. Plus, Urban Meyer is twice the coach that Ken Whisenhunt is.
