The Ohio State Buckeyes came into this season as a double-digit favorite to win every game they played this year, but their undefeated season nearly came to an abrupt halt in Bloomington.
The Indiana Hoosiers held a 10-6 lead at halftime, and after weathering a second-half assault from Buckeyes RB Ezekiel Elliott, drove down the field with a chance to force overtime with nine seconds left, but a bad snap on fourth down with the Hoosiers 10 yards away from the end zone ended the game with Ohio State emerging victorious.
Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones struggled again, completing 18/27 passes for 245 yards and touchdown with another interception. However, Elliott was the Buckeyes' saving grace, gaining an astonishing 274 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just 23 carries.
The defending national champions will host Maryland next weekend.
