Football at Ohio University has been around for 122 years. This year’s group of Bobcats has an opportunity on Saturday to do something that never has been done before in program history:
Ohio (1-1, 0-0 MAC) will travel to Knoxville for a noon scheduled kickoff with the 15th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers (2-0, 0-0 SEC). Tennessee narrowly defeated Appalachian State 20-13 in week one and last week was down 14-0 against Virginia Tech before coming back for a 45-24 victory.
So, the Volunteers have shown some vulnerability at the start of games this season but still opened the week as 27.
