Treg Setty’s college career hasn’t been typical. In five years, he has attended two schools, played for three coaches and shared a locker room with dozens of teammates. Change has been constant for Setty and in some ways, has been the defining characteristic of his college career.
Even at Ohio University – where Setty transferred to after a tumultuous season at Southern Illinois – nothing has been stable. Jim Christian, the coach who recruited him to the Bobcat men’s team, coached Setty for just one year before taking the head coaching job at Baldwin Wallace. In came Saul Phillips, who in terms of both personality and coaching style is the opposite of Christian.
