Shooting woes and star’s foot injury hinder Bobcats

With star player Antonio Campbell sitting out due to injury, the Ohio Bobcats looked physically outmatched on the road Tuesday night against the Akron Zips, falling by a final score of 83-68.

Akron (15-3, 5-0 Mid-American) now has a two-game lead over Ohio (11-5, 3-2) in the MAC Eastern Division. The Bobcats have lost back-to-back games since Campbell – Ohio’s leading scorer and rebounder on the season – sprained his right foot against Eastern Michigan last Saturday. Tuesday night, Akron had four players score in double figures, and shot 55 percent from the field including 47 percent (9 of 19) from three-point range.
