So it wasn’t much of a surprise Tuesday evening when the rematch at Northern Illinois’ Convocation Center saw another close meeting with the Huskies putting on a late surge for a 71-60 victory.
Trailing 19-12 halfway through the first half, the Bobcats mounted a run and took a 31-29 lead on a three-point jumper by redshirt sophomore Connor Murrell with 1:23 left in the half.
