Quarterbacks will be the central issue on Saturday when Ohio visits Kent State for a critical MAC East Division tilt at Dix Stadium.
The Bobcats (4-3, 2-1 MAC) are mulling over which quarterback to start — either incumbent senior starter Greg Windham or redshirt freshman Quinton Maxwell — after showing plenty of clunky offense during the firs three weeks of MAC play.
Meanwhile, Kent State (2-5, 2-1 MAC) is just looking for ANY quarterback to play. Injuries have decimated the depth chart at that position for the Golden Flashes, and KSU has resorted to a full-time ‘Wildcat’ offense over the past month.
