AMHERST, N. Y — It’s safe to say the Ohio University women’s basketball team missed junior forward Jasmine Weatherspoon — out with an ankle injury — during Wednesday’s road game at Buffalo.
The Bobcats also missed a ton of shots.
And now Ohio will be missing its long winning streak and perfect start in Mid-American Conference play.
Buffalo led nearly start to finish and chiseled out a 51-43 upset inside Alumni Arena. The Bulls (11-9, 3-6 MAC) trailed 2-0, but never again, while hanging the first loss in nearly two months on the Bobcats (17-4, 9-1 MAC).
