INDIANAPOLIS — How did the Ohio University women’s basketball team respond after a first quarter in which everything seemed to go wrong?
Well, the Bobcats clawed their way back into and ultimately remained perfect.
Ohio rallied from a 10-point deficit in the first quarter, and then held on down the stretch for a 71-65 victory on Saturday afternoon at IUPUI.
The Bobcats (7-0) remained undefeated with the win, which was also its toughest task of the season. IUPUI (7-2) had a seven-game winning streak snapped, and was the first opponent to put Ohio’s unblemished start in serious jeopardy.
