It didn’t take long for the Ohio Bobcats to put Saturday’s game against the Northern Illinois Huskies out of reach.
The Bobcat women’s team, coming off an ugly 51-43 loss to the Buffalo Bulls on Wednesday, routed the Huskies by a final score of 95-70 and had the game well in hand after just a few minutes had passed. The Bobcats’ 95 points is a new season-high, surpassing the 93 points they scored on Jan. 20 in a win vs. Kent State.
After 4:08 had passed in the first quarter, the Bobcats took a double-digit lead and never saw their lead sink back to single digits.
