The Bobcats will ring in the 2016 season with a visit from a former assistant coach.
Ohio won’t exactly welcome Texas State, or Michael George, with open arms however. It’s nothing personal, but there is a game to win after all.
George left Ohio University early this summer. His hiring at Texas State, as the Director of Player Personnel, was announced in mid-July.
George was on Ohio’s staff for six full seasons, starting in 2010. He served the last four years as the Bobcats’ Director of Player of Personnel and High School Relations.
During his weekly press conference on Monday, Ohio head coach Frank Solich acknowledged his team will take certain precautions with a recent assistant on the other sideline.
