During the summer months several of the team captains admitted the game with their MAC East Division rival on the game they were looking forward to the most.
“It’s simple. They’re the team that has consistently beaten us, and prevented us from getting back to the MAC Championship game,” junior MLB Quentin Poling said in July.
Senior defensive end Kurt Laseak, speaking on Tuesday, echoed those sentiments with a bit more flavor.
“I personally haven’t beaten them since I’ve been here. That’s not a good thing to say,” Laseak said. I hate saying that, I hate admitting it.
