The Ohio Bobcats waited, but were unable to get in their final weekend home game of the season.
Ohio's Sunday game against Miami was cancelled due to field conditions at Bob Wren Stadium from rainy weather over the weekend.
The game was slated for 1 p.m., but was called shortly after 6 p.m. after the field was deemed not playable.
The cancelation allowed Ohio to settle for a series split with the RedHawks. Ohio lost on Friday, 5-1, before winning on Saturday afternoon, 4-3.
Ohio (16-27) stands at 10-10 in the Mid-American Conference. Miami (33-13 overall) is 13-7 in the MAC.
