Jordan Dartis, shown here in a file photo from earlier this season, scored 38 points, including 10 three-pointers, in the Bobcat men's defeat of Akron Tuesday night at the Convo.
By Michael JohnsonJordan Dartis had Ohio feeling good for the first time in a long time. On the strength of the junior guard’s 38 points, the Bobcat men broke a four-game losing streak at home with a 99-75 win over Akron.
Akron (10-13, 3-8 Mid-American Conference) was supposed to be the heavy three-point shooter, but was outdone by Ohio (10-13, 3-8 MAC) and Dartis.
The Zips, coached by former Ohio head coach John Groce, and the Bobcats started off even as expected.
