After suffering a historic loss to a Mid-American Conference leader on Tuesday, the Ohio Bobcats hosted yet another in Bowling Green on Friday night. No blowout ensued; in fact, an altogether different result came about as Ohio beat the Falcons 92-87 in overtime.
The Bobcats and the Falcons were tied 40-40 at the half, Ohio’s only second 40-point first half in MAC play this season. Ohio shot 53.8 percent from the field in the first half and closed the period on a 7-0 run.
Ohio senior forward Gavin Block hit a three-point shot with 1:01 left in the half to tie the game.
