Normally, when Kenny Kaminski misses all of his shots and fails to score a single point, the Ohio Bobcat men’s’ offense is in trouble. On Saturday against Ball State, Tony Campbell and Jaaron Simmons made sure that wasn’t the case.
In the Bobcats’ 79-73 win over the Cardinals in Athens, Ohio, 10-4, leaned on Campbell and Simmons in the second half of a physical game to even its MAC schedule 1-1. Campbell finished with a career-high 27 points, 12 of which came on a career-high four three-pointers. Simmons, meanwhile, finished with 21 points – 13 of them in the second half – while also pulling down 11 rebounds and dishing out six assists.
