Ohio men play hard but fall short against MAC's best

The Ohio men played well enough to keep the large Convocation Center crowd rowdy, well enough to keep the score close, but in the end, not well enough to win. With the best team in the Mid-American Conference in Athens Friday evening, the Bobcats fell to Buffalo 73-66.

Buffalo (16-5, 8-0 MAC) stifled Ohio (9-11, 2-6 MAC) down the stretch even as the Bobcats threatened a comeback.

The Bulls jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the game’s first minute, then the offenses stalled.
