The last time the Ohio Bobcats scored as many points as the No. 25 Buffalo Bulls scored against them on Tuesday night occurred in 1998 during a double-overtime against Central Michigan. The Bobcats put up 122 points that night, which – understatement alert – would have been helpful at Buffalo where Ohio fell hard, 114-67.
Ohio (11-14, 3-10 Mid-American Conference) led the Bulls for about a minute, which was all that nationally ranked Buffalo (23-3, 11-2 MAC) was going to allow.
Buffalo was just plain unstoppable on offense. They shot 56.9 percent from the field and were even better on three-point attempts, draining 57.
