Tuesday night at the Convocation Center, the Ohio Bobcat men came in feeling good after a strong second-half performance and win Saturday against Ball State. After Tuesday’s loss, the Bobcats’ mood might be bit soured.
In a game defined by fouls in both haves, Ohio (10-4, 1-2 Mid-American Conference) lost to the Bowling Green Falcons (11-5, 2-1 MAC) 91-75 after leading by as many 14 in the first half and by five after the game’s first 20 minutes.
Ohio had four starters – Treg Setty, Antonio Campbell, Jordy Dartis and Kenny Kaminski – pick up two fouls early in the first half, forcing coach Saul Phillips to bench most of his starters and give extended minutes to the likes of Mike Laster, James Gollon and Khari Harley.
