The Ohio men's basketball team (8-3) overcame a slow start Friday night at the Convo to motor past Urbana (5-5), 77-50 in the ’Cats’ final non-conference game of the 2016-17 regular season.
A 19-0 run to begin the second half made up for the sluggish play in the first.
"(It was) kind of an inexplicable start for us," said Ohio head coach Saul Phillips after the game. "Give all the credit you can to how their (Urbana's) kids came out."
Bobcat redshirt senior forward Kenny Kaminski led all players with 18 points, going six of 13 from the field, including four of nine from three-point range.
