Ohio men and women's basketball teams win nail-biters

The Ohio Bobcats had an important Mid-American Conference doubleheader on Saturday. Both the men at home in the Convocation Center and the women at Bowling Green ended with victories that came down to the final shots of the game.

Men’s Basketball

A second-half rally by Ohio (11-8, 3-4 MAC) gave the Bobcats a back-and-fourth, 78-74 victory over Ball State (11-9, 2-5 MAC) at the Convo.

Trailing 37-30 at halftime, Ohio shot 52.9 percent from the field to outscore the Cardinals 48-37 in the second half, sealing the victory. Ohio’s leading scorer, redshirt sophomore Jason Carter, scored 16 points, all from the second half.
