In a much-needed bounce-back effort following their loss at home against Toledo last Tuesday, the Ohio Bobcat men’s basketball team trounced the Bowling Green Falcons 96-72 at the Stroh Center on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Ohio women’s team also took a win, beating Miami 79-62 in Oxford Saturday afternoon.
Quiera Lampkins led the women Bobcats to victory with a double-double while Hannah Boesinger scored a season-high 17 points. The women’s team is now 16-4 overall, 7-2 in the MAC.
The Ohio men had been winless (0-4) against Bowling Green since head coach Saul Phillips came to Athens in 2014.
