A last-place Ohio men’s team visited an angry, first-place Buffalo squad. The result was not surprising.
Buffalo (21-8, 13-3 Mid-American Conference) scored the most points it has all season in its 108-82 home blowout Saturday over the Bobcats (12-6, 5-11 MAC).
Earlier Saturday in Buffalo, the women Bobcats also fell to a quality Buffalo squad.
Despite a five-point lead at the half, the Ohio women (15-12, 9-7 MAC) could not hold off Mid-American Conference East-leading Buffalo (23-4, 14-2 MAC), Ohio lost 70-53.
In their later game, the Ohio men rode in on a two-game winning streak and as much momentum as any team in the MAC.
