Gavin Block has already crossed off many ‘to-do’s’ in his still brief first season as a Division I college basketball player.
Ohio’s freshman wing has already played in his first game, scored his first points, made his first momentum-shifting 3-pointer, take his first trip to tropical destination and enjoyed his first cheers for his exploits in the Convo.
On Saturday, he’ll notch another first. Block, and the Bobcats (4-2), will play in their first true road game of the season in a 4 p.m. start at St. Bonaventure in Olean, N.Y. Ohio has played three neutral site games, but Saturday’s trip is the only true road game during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
