The Ohio Bobcats, of course, are hoping that Homecoming this Saturday fills the Peden Stadium stands with fans and notches another game in the win column.
Ohio (3-3, 1-1 Mid-American Conference) hosts the Bowling Green Falcons (1-6, 0-3 MAC). The Falcons have lost four consecutive games since beating Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 15. After its last loss, Bowling Green fired Head Coach Mike Jinks after accomplishing a 7-24 record since he took over in 2016.
Replacing Jinks as interim head coach for the Falcons will be Carl Pelini, who was acting as the defensive coordinator. Bowling Green’s defense had allowed the seventh most yards per game in the nation with a whopping 504 yards.
