Ohio gets impressive win in Bahamas Bowl

For the first time since 2012, the Ohio Bobcats will return to Athens with a bowl game victory. The Bobcats (9-4) dominated the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers (8-5) in the Bahamas Bowl on Friday, winning 41-6.

Dorian Brown had four rushing scores to help Ohio to its biggest bowl win since the 2012 Independence Bowl when the ’Cats defeated Louisiana-Monroe 45-14.

With Ohio already ahead 13-0 in the second quarter, Brown rushed 74 yards for a touchdown on Ohio’s first play of the drive. A Louie Zervos kick gave the Bobcats a 20-0 lead. Brown had a nine-yard score before halftime and had rushing scores of 25 and 14-yards in the third quarter.
