If one thing is obvious from Saturday’s meeting between Ohio and Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts, it’s which side of the ball for Ohio will face tougher practices this week.
Ohio (4-1, 1-0 MAC) defeated UMass 58-50 in a shootout with more than 1,000 yards gained. The Bobcats ran the ball all over on offense, which earned them another win. While the Bobcat defense did make some key stops, UMass (0-6) touchdowns early and late in the game bloated the Minutemen’s score.
Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke had his best offensive performance since he and Ohio defeated Hampton 59-0 on Sept.
