Ohio defense comes through while offense has ups, downs

In its loss to Central Michigan on Oct. 7, the Ohio Bobcats committed four turnovers, which directly led to the 26-23 loss. Two days ago at Bowling Green, Ohio’s defense changed the pace by forcing four Falcon turnovers, a turnabout that the ’Cats desperately needed.

Ohio (5-2, 2-1) took the 48-30 road victory over Bowling Green (1-6, 1-2) on Saturday, but the takeaways aren’t all positive. Ohio’s offense, led by quarterback Nathan Rourke, played poorly for the first half of the game.
