Ohio Bobcat quarterback Quinton Maxwell lofted a deep ball to Papi White for a 73-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage in Thursday night’s victory over Buffalo in Peden Stadium.
The ’Cats proceeded to control the game flow throughout four quarters against the Bulls, to come away with a 34-10 victory.
The first-place Bobcats (7-3, 5-1 Mid-American Conference) now own a 1.5-game lead over the second-place Miami RedHawks atop the MAC-Eastern division. Miami squares off with MAC-West foe Central Michigan on Friday.
