Photo by Lucas ReillyA sports team starting 1-0 is better than starting 0-1 anytime, but that doesn’t mean a debut win necessarily will lead to more victories if the play is sub-par. The Ohio Bobcat men’s basketball team knows this.
The Bobcats defeated Alabama A&M 61-53 Saturday at the Convocation Center. The win was not pretty and showed that Ohio has some work to do and adjustments to make if its 1-0 opening record portends things to come.
“It’s going to be important for our young guys in particular to take away the fact that we did hold (Alabama A&M) to 34 percent shooting for the game.
