Ohio Athletics recognized another banner year of achievements by its student-athletes at the fifth-annual CATSPY Awards on April 24 at Ohio University’s Memorial Auditorium.
Eleven awards were handed out in recognition of the Bobcats’ achievements both on the field of competition and in the classroom, according to a news release.
The evening began with the “Green Carpet” outside of MemAud, with the student-athletes having the opportunity to get their pictures taken in their formal attire as well as take selfies utilizing the Mid-American Conference’s Twitter mirror.
Eighth-year “Voice of the Bobcats” Russ Eisenstein served as emcee of the event, painting the picture of the evening for those in attendance.
