The Ohio Bobcat men couldn’t repeat their magic from the previous night Friday evening in Cleveland, losing a Mid-American Conference semifinal game to Kent State, 68-66.
This was the second consecutive night when the Bobcats played a nail-biter that came down to the final seconds, but the 2-seed Bobcats came up short against the 6-seed Golden Flashes. Kent will play Akron (who defeated Ball State 74-70 earlier Friday) in Saturday’s MAC championship game.
Kent State's Jaylin Walker's running right hand shot with 4.1 seconds left in regulation gave the Flashes a 68-66 win over Ohio at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
